Overcoming Fears

So at some point in life, we face fears that will either make or break us, especially when running a small business, or any size business really.

I'm not going to lie, I have a lot of fears. Anxiety is a well known opponent in my race to the finish line.

In regards to the fears that come with my small business, here are two that haunt me often:

The fear of asking for help when I need it. In my mind, I think I should just be able to do it all, have everything under control. That's not always the case though, and I often find that I'm a hot mess!

I have heard many times that you have to fail before you can succeed... I can't help but be afraid of failure, I always have been . Failure is not welcome company along my journey, even though I know I may embrace it at some point.

With all that said, I am facing those two major fears this month.

Tomorrow I am launching a Kickstarter Campaign to get the funds I need for a few business essentials. So basically, I'm asking for help with the possibility of the campaign failing. Two birds, one massive stone!

I am excited about the Kickstarter, and I have put so much work into it. I can of course run the campaign again if it is not successful the first time around, but still the fears loom over me as I start out on this venture.

So here we go, taking a leap of faith, facing some fears and hoping for a month of growth which ever way this path takes me.

Thank you for taking the time to read this, and I hope it encourages you to face fears in your life as well.

You can see the preview forthe Kickstarter here, and stop by tomorrow for launch day! I will be posting frequently during the duration of the campaign, so I hope you will stop in often for updates. :)
