Well Hello, 2019!

Call me old-fashion, but I love when the post office has pretty flower stamps like these!

Call me old-fashion, but I love when the post office has pretty flower stamps like these!

Can you believe it? We have entered into 2019 already. Can you also believe it has been like six months since I last posted here in the Simply Divine Blog?! I know I know, it is not that unbelievable because quite honestly, I am terrible at keeping up with this blog!

Ah, I want so badly to be good at this whole blogging thing, I really do. I have all sorts of ideas and vision about what I want here and what I want to share with you. I just cannot seem to get into the right rhythm.

My word for this year is Productivity, something I feel I truly lacked last year… Well, I guess that’s not completely true. Last year turned into a self-love year and focusing on getting healthy. So I guess that was pretty productive and an important task as well.

We ended up moving in October about an hour away from where we were. It was a bitter sweet thing, I’m excited about living where we are now but also miss many things about where we used to live. And the whole process of moving completely threw me off my game… I hate moving.

For some reason we always move around the time I should be getting ready for holiday season. So while the rest of my entrepreneurial friends are doing holiday prep, I’m house hunting/buying/selling/moving our entire lives and by no means can I handle doing all of it and get my business holiday ready. I know there are plenty of people who can juggle these sorts of things, but I came to grips with the fact that I can not multitask if I want the end results to be any good at all.

I’m not sure where exactly I was going with that, just venting I guess. Oh, so Productivity. This year I am planning on doing much better with planning out the holiday prep as well as blogging and social media. I try not to call this a New Year’s Resolution, because in my mind putting that label on it is basically asking to fail… New Year’s Resolutions hardly ever last longer than the first month in my experience.

Alright, I guess that’s enough rambling on, haha. I will be back here soon with hopefully less words and more pictures of jewelry, plants and other artwork I’m working on!

Happy New Year Everyone!
